Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Chief Pir Pagara has voiced strong support for the Pakistan Army in the aftermath of the Pahalgam incident. He emphasized that this is not the time for political disputes but for standing united in defense of the country. Pir Pagara called on his party members to stand firmly with the armed forces and prayed for the safety and protection of Pakistan.

In his statement, Pir Pagara highlighted the importance of national unity during times of crisis. He stated that political matters can be addressed later, but at present, the priority must be the security and defense of the motherland. He added that the nation and Hur Jamaat stand united with the armed forces at this crucial time.

Tensions have escalated after Indian media started blaming Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani government has strongly denied any involvement and labeled it a false flag operation aimed at creating unrest and justifying aggression.

Responding to the rising tensions, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif warned India against any misadventure. He stated that Pakistan is fully prepared to respond to any act of aggression and remains on high alert due to India’s hostile behavior. He reaffirmed that the country will not compromise on its defense.

Khawaja Asif also addressed India’s ongoing efforts to exit the Indus Waters Treaty. He made it clear that Pakistan will strongly oppose any unilateral move, as the treaty is backed by the World Bank. He confirmed that the matter will be a key agenda item in the upcoming National Security Committee meeting.
