Pakistan Ranks 65th in Global Safety Index 2025, Surpassing India

Pakistan has secured the 65th position in the 2025 Global Safety Index by Numbeo, achieving a safety score of 56.3. This puts Pakistan ahead of India, which ranked 66th with a score of 55.7. The Global Safety Index evaluates crime levels worldwide, offering valuable insights into safe travel destinations.

Andorra topped the rankings with an impressive safety score of 84.7, followed by the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Taiwan, and Oman. These countries have consistently ranked among the safest in previous years. Meanwhile, some of the world’s largest economies performed lower than expected, with the United States ranking 89th with a score of 50.8, and the United Kingdom securing the 87th position.

At the bottom of the list, countries struggling with high crime rates and security concerns included Venezuela, Papua New Guinea, Haiti, Afghanistan, and South Africa. Venezuela ranked as the least safe nation, with a score of 19.3.

Pakistan’s improved ranking reflects a positive shift in security conditions, which could contribute to increased tourism and foreign investment. The country’s progress in safety rankings suggests better law enforcement and security measures, making it a more appealing destination for travelers and businesses.
