A graduate of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro, Dr. Saleem received his advanced training at Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH), Karachi, one of Pakistan’s most prestigious medical institutions. His dedication and expertise were evident early on, as he cleared FCPS in Internal Medicine in his first attempt. Later, he secured the only available fellowship seat in Endocrinology at AKUH, further solidifying his reputation in the field. His research excellence was recognized with the Best Research Fellow in Endocrinology (2021) award, and he was selected for additional training at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Heartlands Hospital, UK.
With over a decade of experience at AKUH, Dr. Saleem has reached a rare milestone in Pakistan by successfully clearing FCPS in Diabetes & Endocrinology in his first attempt. His expertise and dedication have placed him among the top specialists in the country, where he continues to contribute to medical research and patient care. His journey reflects the hard work and commitment required to excel in such a demanding medical field.
Despite numerous opportunities to work abroad, Dr. Muhammad Saleem chose to return to Hyderabad, Sindh, to serve his own people.
